Should I do an Online course or In-Person?

In-Person vs. Online

Should I do an online course first?

While it is possible to complete the course online and upgrade to face-to-face training later if you feel additional support is needed, the majority of practitioners prefer the face-to-face option. This format allows for a more hands-on approach to assessing facial anatomy, enhancing skills in locating key structures, and confidently proceeding with treatments.

What is the difference between in-person and online courses?

Aside from the obvious, where you attend our training academy in Melbourne for an In-Person course, there are a few differences between both styles of courses.

In-Person Courses:

  • You will attend for face-to-face practical training on a set date that you select

  • You will treat at least one patient, and also watch other practitioners treat patients to get the best of your learning experience.

  • As you will treat patients and use restricted medicines, you MUST be AHPRA registered to attend and we will do compliance checks. You will also need to provide photo ID like a drivers licence or passport when you attend.

  • The course content is very robust and comprehensive. It will give you all the theory and tools you need to undertake patient treatment.

  • You will get access to Coaching sessions after your course, to come back and learn with us again. Read more about Coaching sessions HERE

Online learning courses:

  • Online courses are based around you living any where in the world. This means that we generally do not include information about business, advertising or other regulatory requirements. These can be very different from country to country.

  • Online courses courses do not require you attend, which means that the timeline or your learning journey is open-ended. We won't get in contact with you as learning is self-paced.

  • We still cover all the basics of anatomy, assessment and technique.

  • We will not check if you are registered or your scope of practice. We will leave this to you to practice within your own regions regulatory requirements.

Generally online courses have fewer inclusions as they are self-paced and we will not check your progress as you go along.

All of our courses include robust and comprehensive online learning material.
